This project was very, very enjoyable to undertake. Of course, there were a few shadowy areas, but everyone I worked with was more than competent, and the deadline was reasonable.
Negative Points
Using a WordPress Sage theme was, in my opinion, a bad idea because it needs the use of Docker to function. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, as development teams are supposed to have processes in place to help set up the project on freelancers’ machines. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. It cost me an entire day of work to set up my personal environment before I could even begin.
Positive Points
The mock-ups were fully created for both desktop and mobile. Additionally, the typography and color details were included. The mock-ups were divided into multiple reusable components, making them more suitable for modern integration and development.
Having worked on multiple Laravel projects, and because the WordPress theme works similarly, I was able to leverage my developer experience. I implemented multiple reusable components, which greatly accelerated the integration of the mock-ups.
