Simppple is a WordPress theme designed to be flexible, versatile, and applicable to any website. Its collection of templates and patterns tailors to different needs, opening up a multitude of possibilities with just a few adjustments to color and typography. Simppple comes with various style variations to enhance the creativity of the site-building process. It’s fully compatible with the site editor and takes advantage of new design tools introduced in WordPress 6.4.
Why Simppple?
I wanted to create my own theme and follow the guidelines of WordPress for once. It was a challenge to think about the structure of this project. I think it’s a project that’s easy to get to grips with (on the development side, of course) thanks to this time spent.
The basic idea was to create a simple, basic theme compatible with the latest WordPress updates and to link it with an easy-to-use child theme to create custom blocks and shape it to your preferences.
