The comprehensive redesign of Glanum.com marked a significant milestone in our portfolio. Below, we outline the key phases of development that were instrumental in this project:
- Initiation of the homepage design, incorporating ambitious animations that were later set aside for a more streamlined approach.
- Temporary integration of Bootstrap 4 alongside Bootstrap 3 from the previous website version, a step that presented unique challenges.
- Transition of content pages to a static format, facilitating the migration towards a more modern technical infrastructure.
- A thorough redesign utilizing Gutenberg Patterns supported by GeneratePress, enhancing the site\’s overall aesthetic and functionality.
- Evolution of Gutenberg patterns into bespoke ACF blocks, tailored to meet specific site needs.
The iterative nature of this project necessitated the redevelopment of the entire site four times, accommodating numerous adjustments and directional shifts.
Initially launched without a project manager, this project demanded a flexible and dedicated approach, allowing for extensive development time to achieve the desired outcome. Despite the challenges, including the need to regularly revisit and revise integrations, we successfully implemented 45 custom ACF blocks, significantly contributing to the site\’s unique features and user experience.
